Tourists coverage for seniors

As a senior or the child of a senior, the scariest thing that you can imagine is going through an emergency alone (or your parent being alone). It is important to develop a good emergency plan if you don’t have anyone to come with you to the emergency room. It is also important that you know the medical system, speak the local language, and translate between you and the medical staff.

Here at EMA Care, our providers are licensed, experienced health care professionals who speak English, Hebrew, and French. Our employees are experienced communicators that have professional, warm personalities required for excellent customer care. With true dedication, the concierge staff treats many common issues, can diagnose, make local visits, and refer to a local specialist. Each provider follows up with patients in every case, creating professional and long-lasting relationships with their patients.

Reviewing medical files before traveling

Knowing which medical files are necessary to bring can be challenging, especially when traveling to a foreign country.  Some countries have certain information they need (and information they don’t need to know). For example, there is no need for marital status in America, but it is required in Israel. A non-medical professional wouldn’t know this; therefore, it is important to have a medical professional review your files.

EMA Care has an orientation program where we help organize your files and see which ones are important and not. This will ensure that you will have everything you need when you come to Israel in case of an emergency.

ER services

Imagine that you are on vacation in a foreign country, your relaxing and having fun. Suddenly, something happens, and you have to go to the emergency room. You don’t speak the language. Therefore, you can’t describe your symptoms, and you cannot communicate with the medical staff and find out what is going on. This is very stressful but avoidable.

EMA Care provides emergency services. We provide remote services in the hospital. We can advocate for you or a loved one remotely in the ER and help you through this tough and stressful process.

It is widespread for tourists to go to the hospital unnecessarily because they think something is wrong and need immediate help. EMA Care has a 24/7 Telemedicine hotline that will provide you with English-speaking professionals who can assess you can make sure you don’t go to the hospital unnecessarily.

Here at EMA Care, we hope you use our services and have a great, stress-free vacation!!

Recommended by an Infectious Disease Specialist

My experience with Ema Care has been so positive that I wanted to share it in case it could help someone else. Eight days ago my daughter, a Shanah Bet student, called to say she wasn’t feeling well and had symptoms of Covid-19. I was put in touch with an Infectious Disease specialist who recommended Ema Care. I reached Dr. Eliana Aaron easily and signed my daughter up. The next morning, Ema Care gave my daughter a telehealth exam and provided her with prescriptions, as well as a list of
